Award winning residential outdoor adventures for Primary and Secondary Schools

    Award winning trips for schools

Trips for schools that are award-winning

Having worked extensively since our first school trips back in 2014, we were rewarded in 2019 with an award by the Private Education & Development Awards for the ‘Best residential provider in Southern England’, followed by a nomination for Wildchild founder Lynda Regan for Best Business Woman, by the Best Business Women Awards.

We are delighted to have been awarded the title of ‘Best School Adventure Trip Provider  – Southern England’ by the Private Education & Development Awards in 2019.The annual awards, published by CV Magazine, acknowledge and commend a range of organisations for their outstanding contribution to the private education sector, and we’re honoured to be awarded along with such an impressive line up of education and service providers from across the UK.

We’re increasingly finding our trips for schools are particularly popular with independent as well as state schools, that return each year for our one-night trips (perfect for introductory trips for younger pupils), the personalised and dedicated support from our friendly, supportive team, and the added bonus of a digital detox, giving children time to connect with the outdoors away from the distraction of screens and technology. In other words, a unique opportunity for uninterrupted outdoor play time.

“An excellent opportunity for Year 4 children on their first residential trip. Activities were fun and engaging.” Radlett Prep School, Hertfordshire

“Super accommodating team, friendly staff, lovely woods. Lots of food. Lots of fun”. Devonshire House Prep School

“Great fun! We came away exhausted but with a great sense of achievement, having achieved what we had hoped to”.  Berkhamsted Prep School

“The Wildchild team were all very calm and had an excellent relationship with the children.” Woodford Green Prep School

“A challenging but fun trip. It was nice to see the students laughing and smiling. Stress free for staff”.  St Christopher School

    Best Business Women Awards 2019

Wildchild Adventure founder Lynda Regan was shortlisted in 2019 for the ‘Best Business Women working with children and families’ category in this Best Business Women Awards. The award recognises the successful development of the business Lynda has grown since its inception just a few years ago and is a testament to the hard work of all our Wildchild team whose dedication to every group has helped to create an organisation we’re proud to be a part of.

While this award nomination is an individual one, Lynda is keen to emphasise that the organisation’s success is very much down to the dedication of the team who work together to provide trips for schools that children will remember long after they leave.  And indeed testimonials from our visiting schools are effusive in their praise for the ‘brilliant’, ‘friendly’ and ‘enthusiastic’ Wildchild team that made their trip such a success.

    Success for the future

2019’s flurry of awards recognition follows our most successful year to date. With over 80% of schools returning the following year, it gives us the ideal opportunity to expand to our new centre in Surrey, complete with underfloor heated glamping pods and acres of natural woodland. With two exciting locations we can now offer our unique brand of outdoor adventure trips to even more schools and groups for years to come.
