2: Wild Survivor Bushcraft to learn new skills
Put their survival abilities to the test with a range of outdoor activities to encourage teamwork. It’s the perfect introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Your students will love learning:
Stay for two nights or more to experience our Wild Explorer games, tracking skills and navigation activities.
3: Team-building games to build stronger friendships
Unite a year group with team-building tasks designed to develop problem-solving skills. You’ll see friendships formed as students support each other to overcome challenges along the way.
In the evening, our skilled instructors will lead a range of activities your students will love. Cresta-run tobogganing, ambush games, bat detection missions or night-time safaris offer fun and thrills for students and staff alike.
You can relax knowing our trained instructors will be with you every step of the way. All our instructors have specialised outdoor education training, first aid certification and DBS checking.
From lighting the campfire to running all your activities, their aim is to build positive relationships with your students and give you a stress-free stay.
“A great experience for the students. It was fantastic to see them working together, out of their comfort zone, and away from any technology. The fresh air, open fields and fun activities shows a different side to them all”. Simon Balle School
On a Wildchild residential trip for secondary schools our evening campfire, complete with hot chocolate and biscuits, is often the thing students love the most. It’s a chance for bonding, talking and a good singsong around the fire.
We even provide a range of camp games to keep your students entertained during their free time. Our giant board games, table tennis and multi-sports means there’s no chance to feel bored.
Do you dread the days spent travelling? Most residential trips for secondary schools involve a lengthy journey. With Wildchild you can choose from our two locations, both conveniently close to London, to reduce your travel time and expense.
Our indoor accommodation options mean your students will stay warm and dry all-year round. It’s perfect if you’re planning a year 7 transition trip in the Autumn term. As well as our popular summer bell tents, choose from glamping pods in Surrey or lodges at our Hertfordshire locations.
